INDOOR ENVIRONMENT
Our warm and welcoming atmosphere provides for a friendly, safe and secure environment for your child to begin their first independent steps into a world of learning at school.
Our interactive and ever changing inquiry room ensures that excitement is always central to our curriculum. Constantly evolving and following the children's interests and motivation, our inquiry room is a dramatic extension of our learning journey.
The indoor environment at New Horizons is well resourced, offering children a diverse range of educational products, experiences and activities which support the needs of our learning environment.
OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENT
New Horizons is set amongst a vibrant playground with our magnificent elm tree providing us with natural shade and a meeting place for our friends to gather.
Outdoor experiences are further extended with our organic vegetable garden beds which the children have helped to design, and is their responsibility to look after.
Our native & water wise sensory garden provides us with beautiful sights and smells all year around. There are things to see, smell, touch and hear in the garden, and is a lovely place to enjoy with our friends.
The wishing star is the centre piece of the sensory garden.
